WELCOME TO COLIN BROOKS GOLF
Colin is a PGA professional who teaches at the Braid Hills Golf Centre in Edinburgh. He has over 20 years experience coaching players of all abilities from complete beginners to professionals playing on the European Tour.
Prior to becoming a coach he competed at the highest level, the highlights being when he won the Scottish Amateur Championship and twice as a professional on the European Challenge Tour. He also played full time on the European Tour.
Ranked amongst the Top 100 coaches in the country by Golf World magazine he uses the knowledge gained from his years teaching and playing to work on all aspects of a players game.
He uses the latest Trackman and Gasp Video technology to help work on the full swing. Colin also specialises in giving short game and putting lessons throughout the year.

I had been coached by the best, David Leadbetter, Butch Harmon but still I was playing poorly. My golf then hit rock bottom when I lost my Tour card so I decided to contact my old roommate from the tour Colin Brooks. I knew Colin was making a name for himself as a coach working with some of the best young players in the country. Colin has given me my old swing back. I am hitting the ball longer and straighter. I won back my tour card and am enjoying playing golf again thanks in a big way to Colin’s help.
With my 50 th birthday getting closer I decided I would like to try to play on the Seniors tour. The problem was I hadn’t played any golf for 12 years and my game was in a mess. The first thing I did was phone Colin and ask if he would help me. I was keen to work with someone who knew what it was like to play at the highest level as I needed help with all parts of my game not just the swing. He helped me rebuild my game to a level where I am competing with the best amateurs in the country. I have been picked to play for Scotland and in 2018 won the Scottish Amateur Championship. Thanks to Colin my game is unrecognisable from a few years ago and I can’t wait to turn 50.
